US Labor Department Launches Mobile Application to Access Employment Data and News

Washington - The US Department of Labor has announced launching of its new mobile application that will allow people to gain access to updated employment data and news, a statement released from the agency website said.

The statement said the free app will display real-tile updates on various data and information that include unemployment data, Unemployment Insurance initial claims, the Consumer Price Index, payroll employment, average hourly earnings, the Producer Price Index, the Employment cost Index, the US Import Price Index, among others.

In addition to this, news releases can also be views within a mobile browser or as a PFD document.

The new app is currently available for the iPhone and iPod Touch as well as Android phones.
