EMPLOYMENT LAW: Supervisor’s Chief of Staff Harassed, Retaliated Against

San Bernardino – The County’s supervisor has received a letter on Monday sent by his top aide who alleged that he was harassed and retaliated against for cooperating with authorities who were probing allegations of corruption, reports said.

In the letter, county’s 2nd District Supervisor Paul Biane reportedly harassed his chief of staff, Matt Brown, by threatening his job status for cooperating with an investigation indicating Biane as a conspirator in a bribery scandal.

Brown reportedly pleaded with Biane as the stress from harassment and retaliation has caused him to suffer health problems.
