EMPLOYMENT LAW: San Diego Cuts Pension Liabilities of City Workers
May 6, 2011
San Diego– The San Diego Government has reached a deal which require workers to contribute some of their salary to pension benefits normally paid by the government.
The deal is said to remove a considerable amount of financial burden of health care liabilities to the local government.
The money saved from the agreement will now be allotted to libraries, parks, schools, and other facilities which require a greater portion of the budget for proper quality maintenance.
Major labor unions have agreed to tax workers for the financial supply of the pension benefit.
