WORKPLACE ACCIDENT: Police Investigates Simi Valley Industrial blast that Killed worker

Simi Valley – Authorities are looking into the cause of an explosion that killed a worker in a fuel company in the Simi Valley Industrial area the other day.

Firefighters who arrived at the scene said they found no casualties in the accident although three workers were inside the building at the time of the explosion.

Investigators said the two workers managed to get out except the one who died. The body was later located in the partially-collapsed part of the building.

Authorities first cleared the area of explosive or flammable material before going on full investigation.

The building belongs to Realm Industries, a company producing alternative fuel.
