EMPLOYMENT LAW: Guns N’ Roses’ Axl Rose Sued For Unpaid Commissions
March 26, 2010
Los Angeles – A management company has filed a lawsuit against Guns N’ Roses front man Axl Rose for unpaid commissions of almost $2 million in Los Angeles Superior Court yesterday.
According to the lawsuit, Frontline Management claims that they had an oral agreement with Rose to be his personal manager in 2008 and was promised 15 percent of the rock star’s commissions.
However the company never received any payment from Rose even though the band made more than $12 million while performing in Asia, Canada and South America.
Frontline Management says it wants at least $1,870,500.
Rose has yet to comment on the issue.
Frontline management was founded by Irving Azoff, who also managed other artists like Joe Walsh and the Eagles.
