Farm Workers Held Vigil for Sexual Harassment Month

Salinas – Some farm workers recently held a vigil in East Salinas commemorating April as Sexual Harassment month, reports said.

The vigil was held in an apartment in East Alisal Street and was attended by around 10 women who experienced sexual harassment in the field. It ended in a moment of silence for victims who went through the same ordeal.

The women aim to raise awareness and shared their stories in hopes that more victims will come out and break their silence about the abuse and harassment they experienced, especially in the workplace.
