RACIAL DISCRIMINATION: EEOC Sues Fremont Toyota for Racial Discrimination

August 26, 2011

Fremont- The US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has filed a racial discrimination case against Fremont on behalf of four Afghan-American salesman who were allegedly called terrorists by a manager, said reports.

EEOC claimed that in October 2007, the four men were called terrorists during a staff meeting. In addition, the manager allegedly said he was the dealership’s dictator.

The suit claimed that the men were harassed when they voiced out the problem to their supervisor, said reports.

These men were forced to resign from the company as a result of the problem, EEOC said.

Reports said the company denied any wrongdoings on its part and it refused to comment regarding the case.
