WAGE DISCRIMINATION: EEOC Fair Pay and Wage Discrimination Seminar Scheduled in Cheyenne

Cheyenne, Wyoming - A free training and seminar on the Equal Pay Act will be hosted by the Denver office of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Wyoming State Department of Workforce Services-Labor Standards to discuss ways to avoid wage discrimination and the laws pertaining to fair employment wages.

The event will be held at the Holiday Inn-Cheyenne, this Thursday, May 12, 2011 to start at 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Speakers will be EEOC Denver Office head, Nancy Sienko, senior trial lawyer Stephanie Struble (both will tackle the Equal Pay Act) and State Department of Workforce Services-Labor Standards chief Cherie Doak who will discuss Wyoming State employment laws.

The seminar will also provide information about other laws affecting the employment sector such as the Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, ADEA (Age Discrimination in Employment Act) and ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act).
