CAR ACCIDENT: Car Crash near Magic Mountain Leaves Driver Injured

Valencia- A car crash which occurred on Tuesday at 10 a.m. on northbound Interstate 5 near Magic Mountain in Valencia left a driver injured and caused traffic to slow down.

According to California Highway Patrol (CHP) officials, the car hit the center divider and veered off the road into the ditch.

Crews had to cut the roof of the car to extricate the person inside the vehicle. The person sustained “moderate to severe” injuries and was transported to a trauma center, said a spokesperson of the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Officials said that no freeway lanes were closed and they believe that traffic will be back to normal soon.
