SEXUAL ABUSE: Another Miramonte Elementary teacher under investigation

February 3, 2012

LOS ANGELES --- Several days after the arrest of a male teacher in Miramonte Elementary, another one has been removed from the same school on Thursday and is subject of investigation regarding sexual abuse, reports said.

Los Angeles County Sheriff Department Spokesman Steve Whitmore has stated that the teacher, whose identity was not revealed, is “housed” or is reassigned to a district office where there are no students.

Meanwhile, Supt. John Deasy of the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) has cited that the removal of the teacher was the result of a new allegation that came into the Department’s attention on the same day of the arrest.

Earlier this week, investigators have said that a veteran teacher who was arrested and charged due to coarse acts against students was believed to spoon feed the latter with his semen.
